Berry Pie

Stumbling across a blackberry bush on a hot summer’s day is a serendipitous treat. The taste of sun-ripened, juicy perfection is worth the risk of thorns. Good news: we’ve captured that delicious experience—without the thorns. Our Berry Pie filling uses sweet, luscious berries packed at the peak of freshness to create the most delectable pies, cobblers, and crisps. These are flavors you can’t find in a can.

Use our filling just as you'd use fresh-picked berries. We believe simple pleasures should require simple preparation, so we've also included our own fruit glaze, just like Grandma used to make. For more Orchard 2 Oven recipes and ideas, visit our Recipes page.

Directions
Bake Orchard 2 Oven pie filling with your favorite pre-made pie crust, or visit our Recipes page to make your own.

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Empty the fruit into a bowl.  Microwave the included glaze packet for 30 seconds.  Drizzle the contents of the packet on the fruit and fold together the ingredients.
  3. Line the bottom of a 9-in. pie pan with your pre-made pie crust. Pour in the fruit filling. Cover the fruit filling with the remaining pie crust or your favorite topping. To prevent edge of crust from getting too brown, cover it with foil.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°. Reduce oven temperature to 375° and bake for an additional 40-45 minutes until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  5. Remove pie from oven and let cool.
  6. Enjoy!
